Open call for innovation projects between Sweden and Brazil
As a part of the Sweden Brazil Innovation Initiative there is an open call for innovation and research projects to stimulate organizations in these two countries to develop bilateral relationships and collaborate in innovation projects.
Who can participate?
On the Swedish side, the call is aimed at Swedish companies or research institutions in cooperation with one or more companies, research organizations in Sweden. Municipalities or regions may also participate if interest exists. There must be at least two participants and at least one must come from the industry and one from academia or a research institute.
In Brazil, one of the participants must be a Embrapii Institute or Senai Institute and the other one a company.
Which areas?
Vinnova, Embrapii and Senai wants to support joint research and innovation projects in areas of: health, smart cities, sustainable mining, and bioeconomy.
Funding
In Sweden, for Swedish researchers and companies, the funding agency is Vinnova. You can find information about the open call here.
In Brazil, for Brazilian researcher and companies, the funding agency is EMBRAPII. Visit EMBRAPII's website for more information.
The deadline for submitting an application is November 3rd 2021.
